The Opera Scan comes with an Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) interface that allows the device to acquire 3-D trace and drill point data from demo lenses. Also, the Opera Scan can be used as an OMA server using Windows XP Embedded PC operating system to retrieve an OMA drill or edger and store shapes.

The Z-View aberrometer takes the patients unique optical fingerprint, or iPrint. This iPrint addresses all potential refractive errors, including the patients higher-order aberrations, then determines the patients prescription on the companys proprietary iZonik lens material.
iZon Progressive lenses are available in sphere powers of -6.00D to +4.00D (0.01D steps), cylinder of up to -4.00D (0.01D steps) and add powers of +0.75 D to +3.50D (0.25D steps). The lens also includes super hydrophobic anti-reflective coating, hard coating and a 1.6 high-index base with a variable index and finishing.
