Optovue introduced the cross-functional spectral-domain Avanti Widefield Enface OCT.
Avanti provides an all-in-one solution for posterior and anterior high-resolution OCT imaging at 70,000 A-scans per second, with widefield 3D motion correction and 3 micron digital resolution. In addition to fast and accurate imaging, Avanti offers simultaneous multi-layered assessment of peripheral retina pathology; deep choroidal imaging; fovea location recognition; pachymetry mapping; and optic disc, RNFL and ganglion cell complex assessment. Optovue says the device was designed as a scalable platform with next-generation OCT in mind.
