Clinicians who use Oasis Soft Plug punctal plugs now have a new insertion tool to consider with the launch of the company’ new Pen Style Inserter. As the name indicates, the device is to be cradled between the index and thumb with the punctum plug release button positioned beneath the finger used to gently press and release the plug upon placement, according to the company.

The device is currently available in six-packs of preloaded and sterile inserters with a choice of 0.5mm, 0.6mm or 0.7mm diameter Soft Plug silicone punctum plugs.
