If you use the FastGrind lens finisher in your office, note that manufacturer Super Optical has added a new color to its line of photochromic conversion lenses: brown. These lenses are now available to FastGrind customers in both single vision and digital progressives, with FT 28 versions soon to follow, the company says.

FastGrind is an in-house lens surfacing system that allows independent eye care practitioners to produce lenses for immediate dispensing. The system functions through continual software updates, Super Optical says.
