Jimmy Choo Sunglasses
Manufactured and distributed by the Safilo Group, the newest Jimmy Choo sunglasses feature a teardrop shape with a nod to the ’70s aviator style. Crystals frame the logo detail on the temples for a bold and sophisticated look. Made from Optyl, a trademarked ultra-lightweight plastic material, the Luisa model reveals a stylish metal design on the double bridge, bearing the engraved logo. Featured in refined matte black and white, the glasses are also available in gold and metal silver.
They are presented in a special, crocodile-effect clutch case featuring the iconic hardware closure that adorns other Jimmy Choo accessories. The sunglasses are now available in the United States at leading optical retailers, Jimmy Choo boutiques and department stores. Visit

Ellison Sunglasses
Ellison Sunglasses Co. embraces the spirit of giving year round by introducing sunglasses with a cause. With this new unisex sunglass label, founder Patrick Stanley, 23, aims to raise money and awareness in the fight to cure cataracts. The Chicago-based company has teamed with the Himalayan Cataract Project, which aids in life-changing eye care for impoverished populations who would otherwise go untreated.
Ellison will donate 50% of its proceeds to the organization. Stanley believes that business with a social conscience is a powerful tool in defeating curable, devastating conditions like cataracts. These polarized sunglasses, offered in four style and color combinations, are available only at www.ellisonsunglasses.com.

Magnifiers
Own Eye Magnifier
The Own Eye magnifier, designed by Roy Righini, gives patients a large and focused view of their eyes when they are not wearing glasses or contacts. It features “across the eyes” and multidirectional lighting to enable patients to see the entire eye area under a powerful magnification mirror. It’s not a replacement for glasses or contact lenses—it’s simply an aid to help patients with their eye care.
It can facilitate removal of troublesome ingrown eyelashes, contact lens positioning, eye makeup application, ocular first aid and application of eye medications, such as eye drops and ointments. Optometrists and opticians can also use the Own Eye as a teaching aid for new contact lens wearers who struggle with inserting and removing their lenses. For more information, e-mail
