Glaucoma
Tonometer

The Keeler Applanation Tonometer (KAT), from Keeler, is an FDA-approved contact tonometer that takes IOP measurements at the slit lamp. The KAT uses the Goldmann method of IOP measurement and calculates the force required to flatten a constant area of the cornea with a special prism mounted on the tonometer head. The KAT is compatible with most slit lamps and comes in a guide plate-mounted “T” type or optical body post-mounted “R” type. The KAT is engineered and manufactured with durable mechanical parts that are intended to withstand heavy use. Call 1-800-523-5620, or go to www.keelerusa.com.
