SECO 2005 is around the corner!  The premier educational event in the country, SECO has earned an indisputable reputation by delivering the most current information on eye care available anywhere.  Attendees, both doctors and staff alike, are discovering that SECO is a major national and international event, attracting the best and brightest speakers from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Heres an inside look at how the SECO team puts these events together and what you can expect this year.

It all starts with a gathering of some of the finest continuing education planners in the nation. These individuals travel the country attending conferences and meeting with educators and speakers to find the right talent to meet the demanding needs of SECOs attendees. Literally hundreds of lecture appli-cations are reviewed to uncover those undiscovered gems that no other meeting has yet presented. These in turn are polished and refined before they are allowed to appear under the SECO banner.

But it doesnt end there. SECOs reputation stands not only on choice and value, but innovation, an over-used word in our profession until youve been to a 21st Century SECO Congress. Party Night! Three parties will be in full swing on Saturday, February 26th. All three are on the same floor at the Marriott Marquis, so you can easily go from one to the other. Bad Habits. The original eye docs of rock will shake, rattle and roll. Casino Party. Every registrant who attends will receive play money with which to gamble for the opportunity to obtain raffle tickets for fabulous prizes. Cool Jazz Bar.
