History
A 68-year-old, black female presented for a routine eye exam. Her ocular history was significant for macular drusen in both eyes.

Her systemic history was remarkable for a myocardial infarction in 1995, hypertension and hypothyroidism. She took isosorbide, Prinivil (lisinopril, Merck), Norvasc (amlodipine besylate), Zocor (simvastatin, Merck), Synthroid (levothyroxine, Abbott) and Ecotrin (enteric-coated aspirin, GlaxoSmith- Kline). She had no known allergies.

The dilated fundus evaluation revealed these findings (O.D. left, O.S. right).

Diagnostic Data
Best-corrected visual acuity was 20/20 O.U. at distance and near. External examination was unremarkable, and there was no evidence of afferent pupillary defect. Refraction uncovered hyperopia with astigmatism and presbyopia O.U.
Biomicroscopy revealed normal and healthy anterior segment structures. IOP measured 14mm Hg O.U. The photos demonstrate the findings of the dilated fundus exam.
