Central corneal thickness is greater in children with ocular hypertension than in control subjects or in those with glaucoma, and the values for CCT in children correlate closely with values reported for adults, according to a study from Duke University Eye Center.
The FDA approved Bausch & Lombs combination drug Zylet (loteprednol 0.5%/tobramycin 0.3%) for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions where infection or a risk of infection exists. B&L says Zylet will be available early in the first quarter of 2005 in three sizes: 2.5 mL, 5mL and 10 mL.
