Zeiss says this new functionality makes the device’s anterior segment module more useful in a number of ways. Specifically, it improves pre-op and post-op assessment of refractive surgery patients, allows monitoring of the cornea’s response to treatment, and aids in managing ocular surface disorders such as dry eye and progressive corneal diseases such as keratoconus, a company press release explains.
